Welcome to the Palma International Boat Show 2022
Official Website: Palma International Boat Show
Event Dates: April 28th – May 1st, 2022
Location: Marina Moll Vell de Palma, Spain
The Palma International Boat Show is preparing for a consolidation edition featuring a larger display of companies and boats. The boat show is returning to its traditional dates and will be held from the 28th of April to the 1st of May 2022 in Palma’s Moll Vell.
The next edition of the Palma International Boat Show, to be held from the 28th of April to the 1st of May 2022, will represent a return to normality after a few years of uncertainty caused by the pandemic.
With less than two months to go before its opening, the marketing process is coming to a close for the fair, which will see the whole of Palma’s Moll Vell venue occupied. According to the organisers, “this edition has aroused great interest on the part of companies, local companies of course, but also on an international level”.
In fact, in recent years the Palma International Boat Show has become the premiere event of the nautical season and one of the most important gateways for international companies that want to establish themselves on the islands, or establish relationships with local firms in order to open up new business opportunities. The current level of marketing is expected to exceed the 227 exhibitors and 185 boats that the show attracted last year.
One of the highlights of this edition will be the presentation of new products and boats on an international level. Many exhibitors will unveil new products at the Palma show that they have not been able to present in recent years due to the lack of suitable forums as a result of health restrictions.
The range on offer is expected to be very extensive and diverse, something that has always characterised the Palma boat show, featuring different categories such as new boats, equipment and products, refit & repair, services and charters, and more.
The Palma International Boat Show includes the Palma Superyacht Village, which showcases superyachts of over 24 metres in length from the international brokerage and charter market, as well as an area dedicated to Refit & Repair, aimed at experts and professionals from the nautical industry.
It is worth noting that last year Palma was the first show in the sector to be held after the COVID pandemic. According to the organisers, “this effort has been rewarded, because companies have shown their confidence in us and have decided to attend the event, which this year returns to the traditional dates of the May long weekend”.
Visitors can now purchase tickets online at www.palmainternationalboatshow.com. You can buy single day tickets or, if you are a professional in the sector, you can buy a pass that allows you to visit the show on a daily basis.
The Palma International Boat Show is organised by the Institute for Business Innovation (IDI) – an organisation dependent on the Vice-Presidency and Regional Ministry of Energy Transition, Productive Sectors and Democratic Memory – and the Balearic Yacht Brokers Association (BYBA).
Palma Superyacht Village
The Superyacht Village, formerly called the Palma Superyacht Show, features some of the finest 24m+ superyachts currently on the international brokerage and charter market. Another huge attraction is the Village’s wide array of shore-side exhibitors, showcasing anything from the latest advancements in sail design to next-level marine electronics.
The Superyacht Village also includes a dedicated Refit & Repair area that targets the yachting industry’s experts and professionals.
